My art showcases resistance in service of nature and senses of place. I paint for my people, and to evoke care and thoughtfulness.
My more current works seek to preserve and highlight Palestinian identity and the world’s response to it, which includes collaborations with Palestinian organisations and authors. This is my form of resistance for Palestinian peoples, who continue to endure under systematic violent occupation and those in exile with no right of return to the indigenous lands they belong to.
I also work internationally in the environmental and human rights sector, addressing urgent tests we face as a global community. I enjoy spending time with loved ones, my dog, and climbing wild hills..
